Shenzhen Futian Digital Energy Zone: Empowering New Quality Productivity for a Dynamic Ecosystem for the Digital Energy Industry

Futian District introduces a digital energy zone at International Digital Energy Expo 2024 to set a stage for novel digital energy products, technologies, business forms and models of enterprises in the district such as Shenzhen Green Exchange, CALB, Nuode New Materials, Radiant Architectural Technology, Senruo New Material and Carbon H Era.

Futian District deeply implements the strategic deployment of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for building a global pioneering city of digital energy, focuses on the integration of headquarters, R&D and demonstration, highlights an industrial and scenario-based ecosystem, and promotes the new energy system with digitalization and green and low-carbon energy transformation and industrial upgrading with technological and scenario innovation.

In 2023, Futian District recorded an output value of the new energy industry of more than RMB110 billion, meeting the milestone for building a hundred-billion-level industrial cluster. Up to date, leading enterprises, such as Huawei Digital Power, CGN, Shenzhen Energy, Shenzhen Gas, and research institutes, such as Siemens Energy Shenzhen Innovation Center and Towngas Energy Academy, have settled in Futian, demonstrating the prominent characteristic of headquarters-based research and development.

Futian District keeps expanding demonstrative scenarios of advanced technology application such as perovskite photovoltaic, liquid-cooled supercharging and PEDF (solar photovoltaic, energy storage, direct current and flexibility), aiming at 130 supercharging stations, with one gas station among five or more supercharging stations, and 500m supercharging circles by the end of 2024, making high-quality new energy infrastructure and easily accessible supercharging facilities standard configurations in Futian.

At International Digital Energy Expo 2024, Futian Digital Energy Zone is at 1A11b, Hall 1, accommodating featured industry leaders.


Shenzhen Green Exchange, founded with the approval of Shenzhen Municipal Government in September 2010, became a subsidiary of Shenzhen Exchange Group and was officially renamed in August 2024. Carbon H Erafocuses on the R&D of novel phase change materials for energy storage, the R&D and sale of phase change energy storage equipment, and technical and certification services for zero carbon industrial parks, zero carbon plants, carbon reduction consultation, carbon verification and energy custody. At this Expo, it showcases its phase change core module and phase change board for energy storage. The phase change core module for energy storage is composed of several energy storage cores that are arranged in a diamond shape, equipped with multiple channels and joined by buckles, which is easy to mount and extensively applicable. The phase change board for energy storage is a highly conductive encapsulated heat exchange container that can be filled with phase change materials at different phase change temperatures to meet the needs of phase change materials of different temperature zones.
